The Guild of Corwyn's Legion
The Legions are the primary defensive force of the Protectorate. There are two legions in the Protectorate; Corwyn’s Legion, which is the legion that the Auxiliaries are assigned to, is based in Deepfell Provence in the City of Shadyvale along side the other Auxiliary guilds, and the Lord’s Legion which is based in the capital, Deephenge to the North West.
Members of the Legion are trained in the martial arts as well as a range of other physical skills such as knocking back enemies or striking the weapons from their hands. They form the front line in combat, often using shields and heavy armour for protection and smiting foes with powerful blows, serving their country and protecting the lofty ideals of the Protectorate, they wear the symbol of the Protectorate - the rose - with pride and honour.
On Missions members of the Legion are expected to stand as a bulwark against the enemy, a wall of steel that is all that separates a devastating victory from a bunch of squishy casters being pummelled to death by the forces of darkness.
As well as the standard rank and file, there are two specialist detachments in Corwyn's Legion, to which Auxiliaries can aspire to to elevate themselves above and beyond the life of the standard soldier.
