The Guild of the Pyramid of Light (Good Sphere)
The Pyramid of Light is one of four guilds in the Protectorate dedicated to those who seek a connection to the spheres of power. There are four spheres that it is permitted to have a connection to in the Protectorate, Good, Neutral, Evil, and Nature; although there is a fifth sphere that covers the realm of undeath and the sea of lost souls - necromancy - the use of which is strictly forbidden in the Protectorate upon the pain of permanent Death. There may be other spheres that people encounter, but as of yet are unable to make a direct connection to (for example the Sphere of Dreams)
The Pyramid of Light is a large organisation that covers a broad spectrum of attitudes to the use of the Good Sphere and the defeat of Necromancy and Evil and has four specialist sects that acolytes can choose to join, or they can choose to combine martial skills with their use of Good Power as a Paladin of the light
Members of the Pyramid of Light consider the wellbeing of others before their own and believe that through collective action, diversity, and helping each other, especially the weak, the ill, and the downtrodden, we are stronger and better as a society. They are generally follow a lifestyle of goodliness and humility. They are expected to be examples for those they encounter of the benefits of the Good Sphere. Members of the Pyramid of Light often undertake frequent charitable works and are expected to champion the cause of those who are unable to champion their own. You will often find its members aiding the Hospital or acting as healers in remote reaches. Many of the less militant members help support organisations that help the victims of misfortune, such as Shadyvale orphanage, while others prefer to roam independently.
On missions Auxiliaries with a connection to the Good Sphere are often called upon to provide healing in the midst of battle, to cast protections against spiritual weapons, and to fight or dispel the undead creatures that infest the lands with their profane existence.
